Your day begins with a scenic 45-minute navigation across the open ocean as you make your way toward North Seymour Island. As the island comes into view, anticipation builds for what is often one of the most memorable wildlife encounters in the Galápagos.

Upon arrival, step onto a landscape where wildlife takes center stage. Walk along the island’s trails as blue-footed boobies perform their courtship dances just meters away, frigatebirds inflate their striking red chests overhead, and land iguanas rest calmly along the path. With little vegetation and open terrain, sightings are constant—every turn reveals something new, from nesting sites to birds in flight.

Snorkeling at North Seymour with Reef Sharks, Rays & Vibrant Marine Life

After the hike, the experience continues beneath the surface. Given the right conditions, slip into the water along North Seymour’s rocky coastline, where the ocean reveals a completely different side of the island. Schools of colorful fish move through the currents, while white-tip reef sharks can often be spotted resting in crevices below. With a bit of luck, rays glide past in the blue, adding to the richness of the encounter.
